Coaching Highlights

 

2008 - 2009

Indoor:

**Junior Brittany Johnson won three Liberty District title, Long Jump, Triple Jump and High Jump, Northern Virginia AAA Regional Long jump runner up, Northern Virginia AAA Regional triple jump bronze medalist, Northern Virginia AAA Regional High jump medalist (4th place), Metro Run and Walk Invitational High jump winner.  VA AAA State and Northern Virginia AAA Regional qualifier in all three jump events – long jump, triple jump and high jump.

**Senior Nicole Brown automatically qualified for the Liberty District championship in the High Jump and competed in all three jumps finishing top 8 in each event.

**Senior Aaron Anderson jumped 19ft 1in and finished 8th in at Liberty District championship.

**Senior Daniel Farhood placed 9th in the Liberty District triple Jump.

 

2009

2007 - 2008

Indoor:

**Junior Brittany Johnson earned All State Honors at the VA AAA Indoor State championship – 6th with a personal best of 5ft 4in. Runner up in the high jump at the Liberty District and the Northern VA Regional Championship.

**Senior Lance Cheng place 6th at the Liberty District championship in the triple Jump and qualified for the Northern VA AAA regional championship. Jumped 19 feet in the Long jump.

**Senior Aaron Anderson jumped 19ft 1in and finished 8th in at Liberty District championship. **Senior Daniel Farhood placed 9th in the Liberty District triple Jump.

 

2008

Outdoors:

**Junior Brittany Johnson won Liberty District title High Jump in a personal best – 5ft 4in, Liberty District Long jump bronze medalist, Northern Virginia AAA Regional High jump medalist (4th place), State qualifier in the high jump.

2006 - 2007:

Indoors:

**Junior Lance Cheng won his first Liberty District triple jump title (41ft 0.5in) and regional championship. Had a personal best 19ft 0.5in in the Long jump.

**Junior Jacqueline Hargrove was runner up in the Long, Triple and high jump in the Liberty District championship. Qualified for the State championship in the Long (17ft 0.5in) and high jump (5ft 2in). Medal in the Long jump at the regional championship. Won the high jump at the Southern track and field Mega Invitational State qualification and Regional medals.

**Freshman Brittany Johnson medal in the High jump at Liberty District championship. Qualified for the regional championship and leap to a personal best (4ft 8in).

**Akkrin Chorachaturaphak was named Outstanding Freshman of the year, LJ (14ft 8.25in), TJ (30ft 4.25in), 55m (7.64), 300m (40.72), 500m (1:16.15), 3200m (12:20.24) 55mH (9.71).

 

Outdoors:

**Freshman Brittany Johnson qualified for the VA State championship in the High jump. Liberty District runner up in the High Jump (4ft 10in), medaled in the high jump at the Northern Virginia AAA regional championship, medal in the long jump at the Liberty District championship.

 

2005 - 2006:

Indoors:

Coached junior Jacqueline Hargrove and Senior Theo Robinson to State qualification and Regional medals. The team collected nine jumping medals from the regional and district championship under his coaching.  Hargrove qualified in three events (LJ, HJ, TJ), junior Theo Robinson (LJ, HJ, TJ) and sophomore Lance Cheng in (TJ) qualified for regionals. There were two regional and seven District automatic qualifiers.

 

Outdoors:

**Coached junior Jacqueline Hargrove automatically qualified for the State and Regional championship in the Long Jump, collected four silver medals at Metro Run and Walk Invitational, C.H. Flowers, Nike Spring Invitational and TJ Pentiulimate Experience, qualified for the State championship in the high jump with a bronze medal performance and clearance of 5ft 0in.

**Senior Theo Robinson won the Metro Run and Walk Invitational, bronze medal at C.H. Flowers and medaled at TJ Pentiulimate Experience, Nike Spring Invitational and automatically qualified for regional in the high jump, Liberty District high jump runner up.

**Sophomore Lance Cheng placed 5th in Liberty District and qualified for the regional championship, became the first to jump over 41ft in six years.

 

2004 - 2005:

Indoors:

Coached Sophomore Jacqueline Hargrove to Liberty District title in the Long Jump, Northern Vinginia Regional runner up in Triple Jump, regional long jump bronze medal and a 10th place State long jump finish. Hargrove collected five jumping medals from the regional and district championship under his oaching. Hargrove qualified in three events (LJ, HJ, TJ), junior Theo Robinson (LJ, HJ, TJ) and Senior Andrew Coatsworth in (TJ, LJ) qualified for regionals. Also, pushed Hargrove to a qualifying mark for the National championships in the triple jump.

 

Outdoors:

Coached junior Theo Robinson to second straight Liberty District runner up performance in the high jump. Coach new comer junior Jerone Kadnar to bronze medal performance in the Liberty District championship. Also, coached Theo Robinson to 6th place in the long jump. 

 

2003 - 2004:

Indoors:

Athletes qualified for five events for the Northern Virginia Regional championships under his coaching. Sophomore Theo Robinson and Freshman Jacqueline Hargrove qualified in two events (Long Jump, High Jump) and Devin Mawdsley in the Long jump.

 

Outdoors:

Coached freshmen Jacqueline Hargrove to a bronze regional bronze medal and State Qualifier in the Long Jump. Athletes qualified for five event for the Northern Virginia Regional championships under his coaching. Sophomore Theo Robinson qualified in two events (Long Jump, High Jump),   Freshmen Jacqueline Hargrove (Long Jump) and Nicole Harrison (High Jump) in the high jump.

 

2002 - 2003:

First year coaching, all athletes under his training achieved personal best and has the honor of coaching his son, Freshman Theo Robinson.
